Sole Mates Hiking Group – Annual Membership 2026

Ready to make 2026 your year of adventure?
Our Annual Membership Fee is R490, and it covers an entire year of hiking fun, community, and the bragging rights that come with being a Sole Mate.

The fee is collected in January or before your first hike of the year.

If you’re new and just want to test the waters (or the trails!), you can join us with a Hike Admin Fee instead. Details below.

Pro-Rated Fees for 2026

Joining later in the year? No problem — the membership drops each quarter:

• R490 – 1 Jan to 31 Mar 2026

• R390 – 1 Apr to 30 Jun 2026

• R290 – 1 Jul to 30 Sep 2026

• R190 – October 2026

• R100 – November 2026

December Special: Pay your 2027 Membership Fee + R50, and you’re covered for December 2026 and all of 2027. One payment, full coverage.

Membership Fees for Children (Under 18) – 2026

Kids hike too — and at a reduced rate:

• R250 – 1 Jan to 31 Mar

• R200 – 1 Apr to 30 Jun

• R150 – 1 Jul to 30 Sep

• R100 – October

• R50 – November

December: Pay the 2027 child Membership Fee + R30 to cover December 2026 + all of 2027.

Important Note

An Annual Membership Fee is compulsory for all Overnight Hikes,
including guests. No exceptions — safety, insurance, and logistics require it.

Hike Admin Fee (Day Hikes Only)

Not ready for full-membership status yet? Want to bring a friend along for a single hike? No stress — that’s what the Hike Admin Fee is for:

• R50 per Adult

• R30 per Child (under 18)

The HAF must be paid in advance via EFT, either on its own or together with any prepaid hike fees.

Reminder: Admin Fees do not apply to overnight hikes. Overnight hikers — members and guests — all need an Annual Membership to join.
